God where are you Part 1
Life has a way of confronting us with profound questions about suffering, faith, and God's presence during our darkest moments. When everything falls apart and prayers seem unanswered, we find ourselves asking the age-old question of why good people suffer while the wicked appear to prosper. This struggle becomes even more challenging when we're expected to be strong for others and lead them to God while questioning our own faith.
The key to navigating these difficult seasons lies in understanding the fundamental difference between testing and temptation. God tests us to prove and purify our faith, leading to spiritual maturity and strength. Satan tempts us to pollute and pervert our faith, seeking to exploit our weaknesses and destroy our relationship with God. When we recognize this distinction, we can better understand that our trials may actually be evidence that we're on a path that pleases God.
Rather than waiting for circumstances to change before we praise God, we can choose to bless the Lord in our current situation. Even with medical diagnoses, broken relationships, or financial struggles, we can trust God's heart when we can't see His hand. Our trials serve multiple purposes: strengthening our character, displaying God's glory, producing compassion for others, and reminding us that this world is not our permanent home. Like Job, we can maintain our confession of trust in God, knowing that He who began a good work in us will see it to completion.
