You Must Be Born Again
In a nighttime encounter with Nicodemus—a respected Pharisee and religious leader—Jesus delivered one of Christianity's most fundamental truths: the necessity of being born again. Despite Nicodemus's impressive religious credentials, Jesus made it clear that external religion without internal transformation cannot grant access to God's kingdom. Being born again isn't about physical rebirth but a spiritual regeneration that changes a person from the inside out.
This spiritual transformation involves completely surrendering to God, experiencing the Holy Spirit's regenerative work, and living differently than before. Many religious people miss true salvation because they mistake outward appearances and knowledge for spiritual rebirth. When someone is truly born again, their life changes noticeably—their priorities shift, their behaviors transform, and they become willing to be publicly identified with Christ.
The process is beautifully simple: recognize your need, believe in Jesus, confess with your mouth, believe in your heart, and receive the Holy Spirit. The result is freedom from condemnation, eternal life, new desires, and a transformed life that bears witness to others.
